Compress Image

Shrink JPG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP files by URL — same idea as TinyPNG or Squoosh, but via a public link: we fetch once, optimize on our servers, and give you a temporary download link.

How it works

Three steps — same flow as major online converters

  1. Paste a direct image URL

The address should end in .jpg, .png, .webp, or .gif and load the file without a login wall.

  2. We compress on our servers

Your browser sends the URL only; processing happens in our backend (not locally in the tab).

  3. Download the smaller file

Use the link when the job completes. Save it promptly — download links expire for privacy and storage.

Compress from a URL

Use a direct HTTPS link to an image file. PNGs with transparency stay PNG; others become optimized JPEG.

Path should end in .jpg, .png, .webp, or .gif. HTTP links only work if the API allows it (SAFE_FETCH_ALLOW_HTTP).
